Amanda Leighty, 2024-2025 Economic Security Committee Chair, was appointed to the CSWG in 2024 as an Internal Appointee. Amanda is a seasoned writer working as a Content Manager in a marketing technology consulting firm with a broad skill set in digital marketing and user experience. With a background in consumer protection at the Florida Office of the Attorney General, Amanda is passionate about ensuring that the digital landscape is ethical, kind, and accessible to all.

Personally and professionally, Amanda is known for her reliability and for bringing calm to chaos. A Tallahassee native and passionate volunteer, Amanda currently serves on the Board and is a Past President of the Junior League of Tallahassee. She also volunteers with the Tallahassee Roller Derby, Tallahassee's only flat track roller derby team. In 2024, Amanda was recognized for her volunteer achievements with the Oasis Trailblazer Unsung Shero Award. Amanda holds a Master’s of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Marketing from the Florida State University.
